Tried downloading twice, and it wouldn't unzip- "bad table".
Oh well.
Also-the link was posted in the GR forum at NI-if you go to the demos page from the home page,it just shows ver 1.2.

Tried it and so far like it, especially some of the new effects. Broke a damn guitar string though and haven't got any spares so I haven't delved as deeply as I would have liked.

Very impressive. Bass sim did not do it for me, but there is a better compressor now

It's because it doesn't send ccs- it uses an encoded audio signal for the control signals. That's the reason it has MIDI ports on the back- so you can plug in an external MIDI controller pedal.shamann wrote:That's a bummer. I can understand only selling the bundle, but not allowing the controller send cc messages to other software is a bit annoying.multree wrote:noo yes no

Oh, I see, that makes more sense. What is the MIDI out port for? And how is the controller output recordable as host automation? Or do they just mean as you control, record the parameter's changing values?ew wrote:It's because it doesn't send ccs- it uses an encoded audio signal for the control signals. I have to admit, I'm very impressed with this. Not sure what guitarists will have to say about it as a guitar rig, but I have little interest in what guitarists think about these things overall any way.
Some of the effects are excellent, but it's the sampling/looping functions (check out the tapedeck) and the modulation options I'm most impressed with. They really open this thing up quite a bit.
Some of the amps/cabs and a few of the effects struck me as a bit dodgy sounding, but all in all, pretty good. Which shocks me, because I've never really met a NI product that I didn't dislike. Don't know if I can justify the cost, all-in-all.

its good tool...But I should say that
there is always sameness /in the sound/ in every amp and distortion in high-midd range area .
Doesnt matter JCM800 or "Messa" clone they sound almost
the same...
The FX section is just fine...but
the gain - drive part who is GutiarPlayer oriented is
like in GRG1.
Amplitube is my favorite:)
