An embroidery hoop and a stocking will do a very nice job. If a hoop is too hard to find, or too hard to attach, use a coat hanger. I buy stockings all the time for aquarium filters (I use the toes for activated charcoal.)

Or a nice one will be about $10-$20

Made now my first popshield, constructed of nylon from a panty hose and some cardboard. It seems to work. Costs: 0.75€ for the panty hose. And now I have another question. Is there an influence of the quality of the panty hose on the filtering effect?

How to get rid of...
