In all seriousness, my comments aren't that far from what I percieve as the truth. Ok, so no, not everyone deserves to die. But not everyone deserves to pick up a guitar either. Break their fingers then?
Poverty is a good thing. If you look throughout the entire history of the world, a common occurance is that people on the poverty line have brought so much innovation into the world, whilst fat lazy f**ks with all the money sit around and leech from that same innovation.
Maybe I'm just talking out my arse though... these are just my observations.

Because a number of artists have become rich & famous.
Don't know why they are famous, although some of them may be talented etc. at the end of the day they are just ordinary people same ways (although some i've met in the past have so forgotten that & started to believe in the hype & dissapear right up their own arses, especially one guitarist I met who wasn't even really 'famous' yet, just breaking through - fuckin arrogant prick).
Nowadays the worship of celebrity has become an epidemic, 'everyone' wants to be one - reason being is you do f**k all for lots of money, I reckon that making music etc. is only a means to an end for many now - the end being 'celebrity'.
These young people get interviewed & their goal in life isn't to create classic songs that people will still be listening to in 30 years time, it's to be 'famous', a 'celebrity'.
A couple of top 10 singles, shag someone, fall ouit of a few taxis outside nightclubs, do some tv presenting & then once dropped by the record company for lack of real dtalent just keep feeding off the carcass of your decomposing 'celebrity' status.
Better than working the 9-5 being grossly underpaid & undervalued for the work you do while ones company directors continually make cutbacks, lower real wages & 'centralise operations' etc. leaving one with no real job security whilst they drive around in rollers holidaying in aspen, awarding each other huge bonuses, share deals & golden parachutes whilst they suck each others cocks.

fame rules. i get so sick of going to work everyday and at lunch seeing all these darn "super producers" walking around downtown manhattan wearing sneakers, jeans and sunglasses.... literally... it makes me ill. While i wear my suite and tie and sit in my cubicle making $20/her doing accounting... i go to lunch and see Moby or Arman Van Helden or Just Blaze or Rza or some rappers just walking around Union Square, Soho or Midtown Manhattan like life is sweet and good. I would love to have that feeling of elation. you should see the confidence these people have.... and they always have nice sneakers... like the limited edition ones...

rep- it sounds like you are just more sick of the corporate life. I can completely relate to ya there. If I had a choice to be rich or famous tho, I would take rich over fame anyday. Fame just means you have no privacy. The only reason I want to be rich is so I didnt have to work, I dont want expensive cars, jewelry or other crap like that. I would be content(no make that ecstatic) in a small house with one modest car as long as I could sustain myself with food and beverages until I died with out having to work every day.
