Ok, got it. No flaws. It's just they didn't specify what cores they refer to. Venice has sse3. Winchester doesn't. So you just got an older core. They do sse3 from now on.

Athlon XPs (Bartons) do not support SSE2. (At least mine doesn't!) I think SSE2 support came in with the 64bit cores. SSE3 support was added recently to the newer athlon64 cores (venice and another one I forget the name)

yes, I was wrong, XP only does sse. But it seems sse2 is in all 64 processors including NewCastle

The EQ is sublime. Best eq anywhere on this planet, free, hardware (digital) or expensive.

current version is 1.95.

there haven't been any "real" changes to the 3 band version since 1.90 and that was gui thing. functionally, it goes back even further.
