I'm trying to use the Guitar Rig 2 Demo with an external midi controller(Pod FBV Shortboard and UC33e) The moment I use the "midi learn" function Guitar Rig Freezes. Anyone else had issues? I'm using the midi from the Delta 1010 and the Midisport 8x8.

I also did this:
Open up a preset in GR2 and try the midi learn function. For example I used my PC Keyboard to turn on/off one of the effects. I right clicked on the reverb effect(on/off switch) selected "learn", hit the space bar on my PC keyboard and GR 2 froze. Can anyone else reproduce this???

Windows XP Pro SP2
Delta 1010
Midisport 8x8
1024 gig of ram
P4 2.4

Problem Solved. Apparently I closed out the Midi Learn Box as opposed to clicking the "OK" button, this solved the crash.

Say, do you need to use the controller's asio driver, or can you use it fine with your soundcard's asio driver and still have the controller working as advertised?

I use my soundcard ASIO and it's fine.
