it's unpatched, quickie gui, but might not get a chance to work on it for a while, i'm not allowed to make noise on the compooder today.

concept: weird clap/clicky percussion engine

slap on a sine drop for punch and a boring usual noise 'snappy' but with etric's nice sideband filtering system for some grotty noise, and some lofi reverb, yawn

will upload the source files to seusersgroup for customisation, eg. i'd take the verb section out myself but figured it'd be useful for most usrs.

YOU NEED TO MANUALLY LOCATE THE WAV FILE

- inside a filder called 'saros' adjacent to the saros.dll

the 'clap' engine is as thus:

the wav file is a rom of 32 different 'noise' waveforms, oc rom-based noise = lame, but for short sounds okay

the clap consists of up to 5 separate hits, a bunch of 'scatter' functions based on a random seed allows you to quickly make unique multi-part clicky sounds where each part is all different sounding.. eg. say 3 very short enveloped hits of different timbres spread to different pitches for an odd, perhaps more organic sounding percussive click. something different from usual subtractive perhaps.

i'd try fucknig up the random ('scatter') vals, then moving the pitch floor and ceiling vals to remove stuf.. the '5-in-a-row' sliders are only for very fussy customisation and are a bitch to reset so avoid using those.

have fun.
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

the saros is a lunar cycle lasting roughly 18 years 11 days. this vsti marks my second saros and suggests the cyclic nature of percussion sounds...
RTFM :hihi:

I knew it was too bad to be true. ;)

do you 'have' to locate the wav file, cos i didn't seem to.i just fiddled about and thought it seemed a bit quiet.and ended up putting a compressor on it and making a nice bass line. :o there you go. thanks anyway xoxos, always a pleasure.(but i wish you'd ditch those 'pretend hardware style gui's'.) :hihi:

Good to see you making stuff again Xoxos.

They say "time heals all wounds" and I sense that
you are finally recovering from your terrible ordeal.

Stick with it mate....you're very talented.
