aciddose wrote:bduffy; i havent made one, but i'm sure you can find some really good frequency shifters out there. what you discribe about a "seamless" sound isnt possible with just a chorus, the offset _must_ cycle to get a continuous phasing sound. a frequency shifter is a special kind of ring modulator which produces seperate sum and difference frequencies instead of having them combined. this means you can adjust it in a way so as to produce a specific frequency offset. mixing a really good frequency shifter back with the original signal should come close to what you want, it will never sound as smooth as a chorus like xhip chorus though. atleast i've never used that 'seamless' effect in a place it really sounded good. on the other hand, my view might be a bit biased since i actually really enjoy the cyclic sound of a chorus.

that said, future versions of my chorus will have different lfo waveforms and more controls. you're hearing a triangle wave in it currently, which is the worst possible thing :')
Hmmm..again, I think my choice of words is not doing me justice!

I don't think I'm after anything beyond the scope of past or present choruses. I heard many hardware choruses that I liked in studios, some Boss choruses; just been a little disappointed with software choruses. I just don't like a big "wow" or "ssseeeooo" sound...you know?

Your chorus is great, really rich and tweakable. If you're going to make a better one, than make me the first on your list to inform! Your reverb is really great too! I'm wondering why I didn't play with these more sooner. (Probably because the default GUI in Cubase/Wavelab is just the worst!)
Are you planning on doing GUI's for your effects? Do you need a designer? ;)

Do you mean something like Kantos or Alien Solo? :?:

I would like something that could be used with an acoustic guitar much in the way of amp sims do with an electric that model various acoustic guitars, dobros and classical guitars...:)

Like a *cough* Aura VST, Hink? *Cough* Much better would be a Mama Bear VST.

I'd like to have a very simple, but very usable and nice sounding delay. The sound of Kjaerhus' Classic Delay + the GUI of Logic's Stereo Delay...

1. A really really heavy sounding distortion unit
2. A stereo width plug that would turn a mono track into 100% 'surround' stereo.
