would be nice to generate not-quantized, gridless slices' sequences...

I have been wanted to add a number of different randomization options for quite some time. Your FR has been noted

Does Liveslice incorporate patterns or templates? I'm thinking of ACID 5's groove template option. It would be nice to be able to quickly try out different grooves with a loop without having to set this up manually. It's sometimes amazing how much groove templates can change the feel of a loop.

Yes, Arrangements are VST programs / presets, so you can save an arrangement to disk by saving an fxp - most hosts support this.
This will enable you to try out different arrangements with the same loop.
If you save a bank (fxb) file references are included (optionally all wav. data is included) good for sharing presets.

That sounds useful. Is it possible to use GrooveMonkee midi loops with Liveslice? It would be great if we could paint in different grooves like in ACID 5. I know that's a whole new feature but will you consider it for the future?ohm wrote:Yes, Arrangements are VST programs / presets, so you can save an arrangement to disk by saving an fxp - most hosts support this.

By the way, after much testing in ACID 5 and with an ASIO latency of 60ms with E-MU 0404 I can now get LiveSlice to run without drop-outs. A lower latency would be nice but I can live with 60ms for now.
I've just bought it before the price goes up.

May I congratulate you on your extremely fast payment and delivery system. No sooner had I paid when the confirmation and the attachment popped up in Outlook.

I'd like to suggest that LiveSlice has a save as bundle file option like ACID 5. This will make it easier to keep all loops together in LiveSlice and will avoid the problem of going back to a project 6 months later and finding missing loops.

just go to the settings dialog and mark the "save audio data in songs and banks" and you're donemunchkin wrote:I'd like to suggest that LiveSlice has a save as bundle file option like ACID 5.
