Is there a reason why you need that specific virtual midi cable?

Thanks for the link to MidiYoke, I may go for that then if Maple is no longer available. I had used Maple on my previous computer before it went into meltdown and never had any problems with it so I just wanted to play safe and stick with software I knew but maybe its time for a change..

god the maple one was really good too

I guess its a bit a grey area with freeware. Does it specificly say anywhere in the license 'No unauthorised distribution'? If not maybe its okay?
What is the general KVR consensus on distributing freeware that is no longer available? Moral or immoral?
