what are the demo limitations? does it have a limited-feature set? or a time-out? seems like it saves and reloads presets, so i'm not sure what it lacks that the full version has...

i think when you load, it only loads a demo loop. definitely something along those lines, but it should say so on the site, too.
glad to see you're interested. live input is next on jacob's list.

depends on how he implements it, but basically right now you can 'only' slice loops and samples that you already have as .wav on your hd. if you could use live audio, you could feed liveslice with it and slice what you've just done on the fly.

Demo limitations:
Yes they are pretty generous aren't they
- the only limitation is, that what ever loop you saved in a song or a bank, will be replaced by a demo loop when you load that song / bank.
Regarding live input: I'll start a new thread as soon as a start, so you can get a chance to influence the development. But fabi is right in the general idea of input recording: to use incoming audio instead of wav files.

I'm looking very much forward to this feature myself, but I try to focus on bugs, oddities, tweaks and little improvements, before adding new features.sorry that i keep mentioning this
