Hi All,

Newbie to this forum.

I've got an emergency gig tomorrow and I need a solution to this prob:

I'm using a pa/mixer with no reverb, but I NEED reverb. Can someone suggest a SIMPLE, FREE vst host which will purely let me take an input from my (external)soundcard, add reverb (from one of my Cubase VST effects) and then send the mix to the outs of my soundcard?

I'm sure I could do it in Cubase using the monitoring send/returns, but it seems like overkill.

Wouldn't tobybears minihost do this? http://www.tobybear.de/p_minihost.html

just download the ext demo..
You will see two icons in the main window when opening it..

input and output..

Just connect a reverb in between the input and the output..

In the demo you can't save the setting but it only takes a second to load in the vst effect.. You can still, however, load effect presets (fxp)..

If you want to buy it, you wont regret it! It is alot deeper than the main start window suggests!
The following statement is true.
The previous statement is false.

Get an ASIO driver and install it (ASIO4All is a good one.) Then Tobybear's MiniHost or Seib's VSTHost. Reverb possibly DaSample's Glaceverb.

Or Kjaerhus Audios Classic Reverb.
Very good and free.

I'll also put in a plug for Herman Seibs VST Host.
Another excellent freebie....
