A friend of mine is working with Logic for windows platform and he has a problem related to midi inputs. I'll try to explain the best way I can.
How can he connect a midi input into an audio instrument track?
I think it has something to do with syncronization...

His question is more simple after all:
How to access or select a midi input on a midi track?

The midi inputs are suppose to work without having to configure them or so(the only thing I did was selecting the Asio drivers for the card).
And you have to have the audio instrument track selected for midi input to work. I have 3 midi input (2 cards and a USB ) and they all works simultaneously.

The transport also has a midi monitor thing. If you hit a note, you are suppose to see if any midi notes are coming in. That might give your friend a clue to see if the hardware is set-up right.

you have to download the update- Logic 2006 for windows. When emagic was bought out by apple, their 2 best employees, BABYA and DaExpert decided to not let the rotten apple ruin their lives. Babya went on to develop Babya Logic 2006, and DaExpert when on to develop his "c**ting troll" style where he borrowed heavily from his predecessors "SUPERPROTOOLSUSER" and "Big Paulo". Unfortunately, neither of them have had much success, and it turns out that the rotten apple really did ruin their lives.

Click and hold on the track name, then select one from the list.
