Got this pic, my fav ever female musician, being backed by my fav ever bassist.

Looks like good ole Mick Karn. Check his playing on Gary Numan's Dance if you want to hear genius (not bad sax either). As to the Bush, dunno - but she did do appearances on The Policeman's Ball or Other Ball if i recall correctly. Is it from one of those shows?

Yes, of course it Mick Karn, genius indeed. (I could always spot Karn by his right hand technique alone, he kept it virtually flat, just moving his fingers!) Saw him live once with Angie Bowie. That was a strange/cool lp, ol' Pete Murphy reciting his spiel with Mick burbling away behind. Love to hear it again (though it may not have stood the test of time...

Dali's Car were cool. I've Tried to find a 12" copy of 'Judgement Is The Mirror', just to sample the bassline. No luck yet.
Murphy though, apparently hated the project and burns every copy of the album he finds
Prince's Trust '82 sounds a possibility. That's definitely Karns' 82 look, and Kate DID play that gig. Good pointer ...

Dreams of Reason is another corker and for those looking for an intro to Karn, I would suggest Japan's Oil on Canvas live album. gorgeous

It's still one of my all time favs. first time I ever heard it was while waiting for a butthole surfers show to start. While I enjoyed the pandemonium that IS the buttholes, I HAD to have the Dali's Car. It was the memorable part of the evening. That and a friend's date having her (pierced) earring ripped out in the pit

You think someone could persuade her to do some Live8 type gig in the future for charidy, i mean if they can get Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour on the same stage at the same time then this should be easy.
