Hello everyone, New here

I hope this question is in the right place/forum/website lol

anyways I just recently started using FL studio like 3 days ago .. completly new to everything, and its a lil overwhelming anways here is my question.. please bare with me ive read the manual and looked lots of places to find the answer and still cant.

OK...I was watching some of the tutorials at www.warbeats.com
and i saw that he had a step sequencer with different channels for each pattern, like he had his drums in one for pattern one, then on pattern 2 he had something like strings in a channel, and the drums channel wasnt on the step sequencer, Iam trying to figure out how to do this, cuz it takes a really long time to put all those channels on the step sequencer and have like 20 channels and then you have to make like 20 patterns and its just not efficent. I hope someone understands what iam saying, and i would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

why don't you ask at the FL looptalk forum? :shrug:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

options->general settings->auto empty channel zipping

All the channels are always there, they are just being zipped or hidden. There's also groups, so you can just view channels in the groups you specify. I never use the channel organizing features myself, I don't really care if all my channels are shown all the time. In fact I almost prefer it.

I'd be happy to see the step sequencer gone completely... :wink:
