is there anything that can help me figure out the bpm of songs i rip from audio cds?

You could isolate 4 measures in an audio editor and do the math?

I.E., 16 beats in 4/4 over 8 seconds would be 120 BPM...

There are online calculators that do the math bit for you somewhere, though (forget where)

Try this, it is a free tool offered by mixmeister and I've found it fairly fast and accurate for this.
