-The GUI incorporates tooltips, hence the lack of words.

There's a new distortion in town! :D

The sight of a deteriorated car battery was the inspiration for Battery Acid. I thought... what would audio sound like if that happened to it? Battery Acid uses a set of dual bitcrushers and waveshapers to completely erode your music to delightful dilapidation. Each stereo channel can be crushed and mutilated individually. Ahh, but that would be too simple... so, there's some secret ingredients in there. :D You can "dissolve" and "melt" as well as "corrode" and "erode". You just have to hear the presets to understand:

Here's a music bit clean then processed.

Here's a drum loop cycled through the presets.

Here's a piano piece cycled through the presets.

Thar be more info, and ye olde demo, here.

-Thanky for your attention!-

Now I'll be gone for a bit, moving stuff tonight...

Thanks for the compliment safeaim. :) I wasn't sure if anyone would dig the GUI other than me... I think hesitantly that I'm getting better at swinging my own pixels...

Damn that's pretty tight the way you automated the effect! I really like the cutoff sweep at the end. Bravo!

thx jack! coming up with stuff is easier when messing with your plugins. fx plugins are usually for fixing something, yours are just fun fun fun.

Hey Jack.. Why don't you fresh up your website with some GFX/Design equal to your plugins..?

I am gonna make a new website in '06... the "sparseness" of my current one has to do with trying to save bandwidth. :)

Believe it or not, I only have a total of 50 megs of stuff to DL (including pics and .MP3s) on my site, yet I'm already at 8244.04 Megabytes of bandwidth usage for this month alone... and I have to pay money for that bandwidth, so filling my site full of pretty pictures and flash interaction would only actually cost me more money. :(

But, I feel ya, I'm gonna do somethin' about it!

this thing destroys beautifully!

Ha... nah.

I think "destroys beautifully" is a perfect description. :hihi:

I think my favorite thing to do is run a nice fat deep Moog-ish bassline through it.
