just thought i'd chime in to ask this little question. i tried google, to find about the original roland space echo and if it featured a mode selector - and if yes, what it did - to no avail, really.
anyone here make any use of that knob?
for anyone not in the know - i am talking about arcdev's dubb box. one of the plugins no longer available, sadly.
dubb box mode selector - what does it do?

Yeah I don't know why ArcDev took down so many of his plugs!? Cyclotron is just amazing, and Ghidrah (sp?) was great too.
What gives...

From what I could gather from the website, he takes old ones down when he feels the new ones encompass their functionality.JackDark wrote:Yeah I don't know why ArcDev took down so many of his plugs!? Cyclotron is just amazing, and Ghidrah (sp?) was great too.

from the Dubb Box .pdf file:
"MODE SELECTOR - Sets the relationship between the virtual tape heads. Mode 0 offers a single echo, while modes 1-10 offer rhythmic subdivisions of the main repeat rate."

this is still one of my favorite plugs. and it's in stereo and has mode, hizz, inertia, motor and tape age controls, which his recent ets-100 doesn't, so i'll definitely keep this one alongside the new one.
