Nice setup, do you not get badness going on with the bass, with the monitors in the corners though? I thought that was a bad.

nope.

thats what the bass traps are for, add that to the fact that KRK like many decent monitors are ported
at the front so they sound much better in corners, plus the monitors are quite far back from the corners anyhow it's all good.

:)

the room, due to the shape was like one big bass boom.

the bass traps and tiles sorted this out nicely :D

fantastic, my last room was totally dead :(
but very well soundproofed, this new room is acoustically just right.

back in the 80's I had a cutec 4-track...one of the first...it had a great transport and awesome heads...but that was it, 1 fader, 1 pan per channel and 4 vu meters (it did actually record on all 4 tracks at once)no fx sends, but it did have a footswitch jack...I use to mic an old 10" speaker I had buried under bags of clothes in my closet...later I got wise and built a box lined in foam with an 8" speaker mic-ed up...that use to be my coffee table...:hihi:

You know when I think back to then I remember being down right anal about cleaning the heads...of course with a cleaning kit and no alcohol...some of you guys that didn't have the pleasure of 4'track tape decks really missed out on a lot. Studio maintenance now simply means cleaning.

Now I just grab my gi-tar, pop open a couple apps(host and line six edit) and go. I can remember fussing until I got the exact same sound each day...now we have presets.

There that was my thanksing giving statement..what do yah think? :hihi:
