Hey, it's days now since I've been trying to make this kick or something like it. I've tried everything, with distortion, compressors, and tried the stomper hyperion too, but with no results. I would be very grateful if someone could help me out here. The sample in the top, thanks a lot.

the DR-008 stomping kick is VERY good for trance (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=680480&t=5492) and a low bass with a long dealy is good...
check out the previous topic of hardstyle kicks

I've already read them, like 3 of them but they do not help me with this specific sample, like I said i tried all the previous methods that I read for hard-style kicks. Thanks, I'll try the DR-008, is it free? I believe not.

99 bucks; if you can afford it, it's the best one on the market except for BFD if you're a rock musician or Guru, if you're in hiphop or beatboxing

bd.dll or kick.mp3?ObiNeg wrote:you do realize that there are 2 sounds going on , a distorted bassdrum and a synth bass sound that follows it quite closely ?
(bd vsti - saw-tri mixed w/ sine for bass boost w/ dual env)

dude i'm telling you
dr-008 stomping kick is the best
you can also get an issue of CM and use their VST instruments; they're also pretty good for kicks...
The kick is the easiest drum to program considering it's a drum followed by a heavy low bass if you just use the raw basics
you're making the whole thing seem harder than it actually is

I hope it's not the predecessor to country-trancecore. That'd be the 3 worst music genres in one...loadspeed wrote:what is trancecore???
I think i'll try that out now and sell it to the Pentagon for use in Guantanamo...

may have webspace next week so folks don't need to join a group to get the files. Amets - I don't know what i was posting up there- I think I was asking someone if they were reffering to the mp3 or my synth. They meant the mp3. I was also stating that the synth has a Bass Boost button, (a matched freq sine, to give it more "OOOHMPH". peace.... I've gotta go sell porn....
