Wow. I don't know what to say. I was looking for some decent guitar samples and presets as that is sorely missing from my collection.
I was also missing really good bass guitars with the exception of my Korg Karma, but sample-wise - not a whole lot as I really concentrated on orchestral sample collections.
I was looking at the likes of Collosus and other sample collections that focus on everything, including guitars and bass - he he he.
Umm, what do I say. ManyStation is fantastic. I know I always say good things and rarely say a bad thing - but really, if a collection was a waste of money I would loudly proclaim it.
This is NOT one of those. Manystation has GREAT and I mean FREAKIN HOT AS HELL GREAT guitar samples of acoustic and electric bass and guitars. Lots of neat cello presets and riffs (that's right, cello riffs) and some surprisingly good flutes and woodwind. In fact, some of my favorite patches so far from this collection involve ambient floating flutes with arpeggiated acoustic guitars.
I am going to have a field day with this collection. Add to that UBK (which I did) and there is almost nothing left to buy. WOW is all I can say. Oh, and there are a TON of presets. Just tons of them.
Which leads me back to a question I have seen at least once or twice now - is ManyGuitar that necessary when Manystation is so darn great?
Besides amps and filters and fx, what is so massively different about the SOUNDS and PRESETS? That is my meat and potatoes.
Manystation just gave me thousands of new ideas for music - something I crave - it literally (like TSW, Voxd and Wusikstation itself) has given me sonic enlightenment that will ooze my creativity once again - almost like repleneshing the lost ideas from my brain - darn literally inspiration in a download!!!!
I want to buy manyguitar - it is obvious that Paul knows EXACTLY what he is doing from a sampling perspective and his presets are inspirational, creative and very useful. Is manyguitar that different? I wish to know before I spend more money on more samples and presets if I am going to simply double what I now already have.
Thank you ManyStation for a GREAT and VALUABLE piece of software. Just amazing. It's nearly 1am and I cannot seem to go to bed - I have to play MORE!!!

I couldn't agree more. Paul (Manytone) is one of my favorite sample developers. There are alot of them out there....actually, the market is flooded with sample companies and the like. Manytone productions, Back In Time Records, Precision Sound, Scarbee, and Bela D Media are probably my top five at the moment (not in any specific order)....There's so much more passion put into their samples...all of the above, especially paul, really know how to catch an instrument/Sound in it's full form...from every angle to every nuance...it's all captured in stunning detail...and then they take the next step and create perfect mapping and other edits to maintain all the beauty and expression of the original instrument while allowing that all to be done on a simple controller keyboard.
Fantastic work indeed.
Hat's off to ya gentlemen (and ladies if and where they're involved).
Back to the killians...then off to bed.
peace!
Frank.

Wow
Nice words Karmacomposer - Thanks!!!
As for your Question ... Do you need ManyGuitar?
heh
Well as a ManyStation user with the Crossgrade, you get an extra 650 meg of New Guitar Samples that are totally different sounding than those in ManyStation.
This includes a few New TeleCaster sets including a Blues / Rock 567 chord set.
You get a VSTi with an AMP Sim built in that provides for completely different sounds than ManyStation can do.
It also has 128 Awesome Presets and 2 SoundWizards and all these new Samplesets will instantly show up in your ManyStation interface as well. And all your UBK can be loaded and Used in the ManyGuitar GUI too!
For you guys who qualify for the crossgrade the $49.99 price is INSANE! Should be a No Brainer, for you that know the quality of our sets already.
For New Users It is Only $89.99 for the Full Version of ManyGuitar that has the Full 1.2 gig Plus of 24 bit Guitar and Bass Samplesets.
That is Insane too!
The Sample Quality as everyone who owns our products will testify is Extremely High Quality and Value for this amount of Dollar.
ManyGuitar was released Today!
Info on our Website.
Thanks ToTc ...I really appreciate the words!

Paul, in that case, I will be buying manyguitar. I assume I am eligible for the crossgrade or special offer? Now that I have the paypal issue cleaned up we should have no more problems with that. Same with my new email address. I will wait for you to receive my last echeck before proceeding with manyguitar.
Again, manystation's presets and samples are superb. I actually loaded them into wusikstation 2.2 and converted all presets - works like an absolute dream. I love your manystation skin, but I like having all of my soundsets (Vox'd, TSW Pro, Acoustic collection and now ManyStation) in one place so I can create very amazing and original textures from all of the above.
I will wait for your email if you are sending one out about the manystation crossgrade offer.
Thanks for great products.
