You always make rather complicated plugins, Aleksey, and I mean that in a very positive way and subjectivly. Many minimalists would not comply...
The problem is only with people that don't: 1) want to read the manual and remember what is what, 2) experiment/play for an hour at least with all the settings. We're all used to those flashy plugins with a few knobs -and consequently- a few possibilities and no manual, of course. I can refer to UAD compressors, for example... they're excellent, but you have to buy them all if you want to have all the possibilities Marquis has and then some
. You give us mucho possibilities in only one plug-in, and your other plugins aren't much different-great.

Aleksey, you write in the Marquis manual that the plugin may introduce low frequency oscillation due to valve modelling. Which modes is this true for? Is it safe to assume that no unwanted noise is present in clean mode? thanx, Artur

Blockfish also does this (unrelated to voxengo but good to know none-the-less)arturmeinild wrote:Aleksey, you write in the Marquis manual that the plugin may introduce low frequency oscillation due to valve modelling. aleksey,
this is becoming too difficult to resist. one plugin that can be so smooth or so punchy
.
love the force knob, and key filter too. need to play a lil longer with the release contors though to gain confidence over the posibilies there, that level of control is new to me.
but i should be grabbing it soon.

Thanx for clearing that up Aleksey. I didn't think this would be a problem at all, but I imagine that this oscillation could be unwanted if you want to use Marquis on the whole mix...

Mastering can be just as mixing. If it sounds good (provided that you have porper monitoring conditions), it is good. Don't worry too much about technicalities.
