Hey there,

thanks to our newest member Johan Larsby (Chief Blitcher & Applesauceror) we have the honour to introduce you to the official release version of GetaBlitchJR

GetaBlitch Jr. is a sequenced gate effect that is different from traditional "trance gates" in two significant ways: first, it uses MIDI to sequence the gate, rather than a built-in step sequencer; second, it gates the left and right channels of a stereo signal independently and potentially simultaneously.

i can't get it to work in fl studio. the plug crashes it very badly. i was looking forward to playing with it. it's just what i wanted.

you guys are awesome for coming up with such amazing plugins. now only if it would work in fl and i could hear it in action. no worries if you can't do anything, i'm grateful anyway you crazy bunch of bugs.

Cheers for the positive words, tuz. I'm sure Larsby will be along at some point in time.

FL is problematic, and I've never understood why. Gol and his team must've done something very odd in their implementation of the VST spec. Not being a coder, I couldn't hazard a guess what it would be.

thanks for the kind words... I guess Larsby can solve the problem... just give him some more details (maybe pm him your specs & error messages)

I'm at work right now.. and while I could try to reproduce it I just don't have the time...

Dear tuz,

I've been trying to get it to crash in FL, cant do it sorry.
I only have the demo however, and I'm not that familiar with fl..
Could you please walk me through how to crash it, and if there are any messages when it crashes?

hi larsby,

i sent an email but i'll post it here as well and maybe it'll be more helpful in case any fl users see it and recognize it. i try to load it into an effect slot and as soon as i do so i see the message below and everything crashes. hopefully, it's not too much trouble for you. thank you so much for even considering helping me out.

i tried to open it in fl studio with getablitch inside xt's demo and it didn't crash.

which is awesome.. but this time i can't figure out how to make it work, which is ok. i'll figure it out hopefully.

Dear tuz,

I've read the emails now this morning, but lets continue the discussion here so that it might help future fl users.

I've done exactly as you have, started a project and choosen it as an insert effect.

What you have to do is to send the midisignals to the plugin, I dont know how to do this in ext, but there are others here on the forum that posess that knowledge.
Jens was about to write a tutorial on how to use it GetaBlitchJR in eXT, maybe lunch has some clues?

Which version of fl do you use? whats your system setup, maybe these parameters can give me an insight in why it crashes, it shouldent, but then again, it does
