I am thinking of purchasing East West QLSO Silver Edition - mainly based on the excellent price at the moment. The mp3's demos from the website didn't work and so I have no idea what the quality of sound is like or the useability. I would be very grateful if anyone could comment who has had experience of it.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Strange that you couldn't play the mp3's from the site.
Anyway this track called Resurrection is IMO the most impressive track done purely in EWQLSO Silver. It takes a bit time to load here though.

The mp3 demos are working fine , maybe you could try
doing a right click and "save target as" instead of streaming

When I did a search it didn't bring up your previous thread. Spooky about the wording - ;last time I checked I wasn't you, eventhough I am a Sonar man.
Thanks for the advice on the mp3's.

Thank you. The search I did was before I posted this thread. I've since followed the link and taken on board the comments.
Thanks all the same.

I won't go back to EW for anything.
Sorry. (Not really.)

Kontakt, HALion, or a translater program works just fine, and the translater programs are good for moving things from and to other formats, too...

I'm already tired of so many efforts to make "real" sounding orchestras, and I'm ready to see what takes us to the "post orchestral" period.

I like the East West Silver... but it's not covering "everything" you'll need... but it's a very good lib for the price.
