While I agree that "Playing the angel" is squashed in the mastering stage (heavy limiting, killed dynamics), on the other hand I really love the production. The sounds chosen are excellent, "warm" but at the same time "painful" (don't forget the subtitle of the album: Pain and Suffering in various tempos).
Anyway, even with this mastering, I love listening to this album. I am not at all tired of it after 30-40 listenings!
