Looking for free simple mono delay.

Delay time, feedback and mix. Mono. That is it. That is all I want. I would make it in Synth Edit but I do not like the sound of Synth Edit for some reason (let's not go there). So do you know of a simple free delay like this that sounds good? No 18 delay lines with 7 matrix quadulator filters and intergalatic panning modulation. Just a nice simple delay like the old boss digital delay units.

Hmmmm... mda-Delay?
But it's
a) Stereo (mono could be hard to find)
b) without GUI (uses host's interface)
c) has six parameters:
1. L Delay
2. R Delay
3. Feedback
4. FB Tone
5. FX Mix
6. Output
Simple enough?

well, i'd recommend arcdev's ets-100 for simple and mono, but apart from that it's probably not what you are looking for, as it's not exactly clean or digital.
(oh, it's done with SE, too, but with arcdev's plugins there is no point in mentioning that as nobody can tell anyway....

Yes I have Classic delay and while I use it and all the Classic series, I am looking for something even more simple than that. I will try out the ets-100.

you could also use luxonix' LFX-1310 - just make a preset with only one delay unit and all you have to do is tweak three controls - time, feedback and level, IIRC...

There is a freebie bundle of guitar pedals which sounds like might be what you're after - anyone know the ones I'm on about - not simulanalog though, can't remember the damn name.
The gui is quite garish with big clunky pedals.
Kind regards

Speaking of which, is there a delay pluging that allows single tap placement of say 4 to 8 taps (no feedback required even) in milliseconds, with panning and *maybe* a filter for each tap?
Just as a general tool to mix with and to use lots of instances with modest CPU hit, solid quality required, though.

Just case anyone else pops into this thread:
Try Simple Echo (http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1738.html).
It lacks, Mix, but only has these three controls: 1. Echoes, 2. Samples (delay time), and 3. Feedback:

Quote:
- 1. The Echoes parameter specifies the maximum number of echoes that are to be played back (0 - 10).
2. The Samples parameter specifies the number of samples after which you will hear the echoed sound (0 (no echo) - 44100).
3. The Feedback parameter specifies the amplitude of the first echoed sample. Each successively echoed sample's amplitude is then interpolated based on the feedback value and the maximum number of echoes to be played.

There's a pretty simple delay in there somewhere
Also - Simple Echo - by Joel Glanfield is listed here somewhere. I believe it's mono and as simple a delay as you can get.
