i tried once - there were a few conversion apps recommended, but they were long since removed from the web when i found their creator's sites..

not tried this, but wouldn't it be possible to load the WMA into a wave editing enviroment like audition and then save the PCM data back into another format? Not sure how or if this would work, but it must be possible at some level.

Nope - Audition won't load them. Or rather, the WMA codec won't decode them for Audition. They're clever like that, DRM systems.

wma licens protection
