I'm Considering getting either a Proteus X or Emulator X Soundcard, and was wondering whether I could use my old Proteus 2000 patches on either card. I have loads of patches for it and would like to take them into the computer domain.

E-Mu includes a bank converter with both that does a really good job. I converted my entire 17 CD e-mu lib in a few hours. It also converts Soundfonts, Gigastudio, HALion, Akai and a few others. They say it works with Zip or Jaz drives, I haven't tried so I don't know.

For banks not supported by the e-mu converter. Extreme Sample Converter is a deal at $40 and it's for sale again.

REALLY?
The only banks I have been able to find is the IceCold Tecno bank. Do you have it in systex format? I would love to hear them. I also did a bank of 20 sounds and they are on PA.I have a fully loaded Mp7 with the Composer 2000 rom.( I also have Proteus x)
