Jaffa Cakes are a popular type of bread sold under a number of different brands, the market leader being McVitie's (United Breads); the name is derived from Jaffa oranges, which in turn take their name from the Israeli city of Jaffa.

Why is behringer so smashed upon? for the price, their stuff cant be beat, imo...

Regular-sized Jaffa Cakes are circular, approximately 54 mm (2⅛ inches) in diameter. They comprise three layers; a sponge base, a layer of orange jam of narrower diameter than the base (approximately 38 mm), and a layer of chocolate covering the jam and the margin of the sponge.

McVitie's signed a sponsorship deal with Manchester United F.C. in 2000, making Jaffa Cakes one of the team's eleven 'platinum' sponsors. Sven-Göran Eriksson announced that Jaffa Cakes would join the England squad in Japan for the 2002 FIFA World Cup as part of their training diet.[1]

The LU brand makes a similar product called Pim's Orange[2]..

Maybe for the price....maybe not. I've found there's always something better for just a little more. Or you can get something used that will actually last longer and perform better for the same or less. I think people should only get Behringer if they have no other choice for some reason. I'm the cheapest bastard in the world and I own no Behringer at all....anymore.
Depends on what we're dealing with. If we're talking mixers, monitors, amps, microphones etc., then yes, cheap components make cheap products.

On the other hand, something like the BCR2000, that doesn't make any actual sound, even if you were to add another 200$ onto the already ridiculously low price tag, it would still be a bargain. The only thing out there that can beat it are Mackie controllers, and they're all 1000$ plus.

:P It's the digital age remember, everyone assumes that you just email anything back and forth, even things that need your physical signature :P
Scanned signatures are not accepted as legal documentation by any private company or government agency I've worked with. And certainly not to bind a contract.

Mike
Faxed signatures are binding in tax, real estate, and employee relations, in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. (I don't know for sure about other states, or other situations.)

my parents have recieved contracts in the mail, printed them off, and then sent them places via real mail before, so I know you can do so in Texas.

There have been claims in the media that the orange centres in Jaffa Cakes are made from apricot and flavoured with tangerine oil. This urban legend may have originated in a 2002 article in The Daily Telegraph[3]. The myth gained status when it was published as fact in QI: The Book of General Ignorance, a 2006 book based on the BBC television series QI. The book's claim was repeated in a 2006 article in The People[4].

According to the list of ingredients on packs of Jaffa Cakes, Jaffa Cakes in fact contain no apricot, or tangerine, and are made with orange juice, an assertion protected by UK food labelling laws.

Of course they are, but not scanned. BIG difference.

Their analog mixers were terrible back in the day. I haven't tried any of their stuff since, the experience was so bad, but would probably be very impressed with their monitors from what I hear.

And the rumours about slave labour in South East Asia never did their PR much good either.

i've always stuck up for Behringer, i dont know why. They're kind like the Walmart of Pro Audio gear - you can get everything you need for cheap in one stop from them. They have some good odds and ends that you sometimes need to fill in gaps in your studio. And about the Boss pedal ripoff lawsuit crap - if i was still an active performing guitarist i'd buy those over the boss originals any day. the boss ones were noisy as they were and no one hears that in a live concert.
