isn't she one of the judges in American Idol now?? I don't think she's doing much in the way of music any more though.

so, anyone?
From Boston (technically, Allston), not LA.

John's dropped more or less out of sight the last few years - I made some enquiries last year about reissuing some of the stuff from his old tape label (XXX Musick, later changed the name to Inner-X) on CD. The webmaster of the Sleep Chamber site said he hadn't heard from Ze'Wizz in something like 18 months.

They were somewhat interesting in their early years, though quite derivative, but they ended up making pretty lame S/M goth disco crap in the 90's as I recall. There was some great stuff on John's label though. He also worked as a subway driver in Boston - don't know if he still is.

Has anyone heard they're lastest stuff?
It's not like their old stuff, more a synthesis of what they all did during the intervening 23 years. If you like Coil and C.T.I. then you pretty much know what to expect (though I prefer recent Coil output to the new TG overall - Gen kinda works my nerves.).

Sigue sigue sputnik. From what I gather they are reunited since some time ago. They were the first and only band, as far as I know, with commercial ads in between the songs on the album.

A couple of people mentioned the Passage - great band, and there was a "best of" CD avaliable on Cherry Red not so long ago. It might be worth looking for - check the Cherry Red website.

Anyone remember Sudden Sway - there's (almost) nothing about them on the web. Meta pop music from the future...

They seem to be just turning up on covers complilation albums, with various industrial/EBM bands.

Thanks dystonia_ek.
