I'm not fussed. The whole point of me making them in the first place is to promote NOVAkILL so if NOVAkILL synths are being distributed with Behringer products, its actually doing us a huge service.

I would re-think that if I were you. You will forever be associated with the crappiest gear on the planet. How many bands seek a Behringer endorsemnet? Make them give you money. Just some thood for fought.

I have several pieces of Behringer gear and I am absolutely blown away at what they can give me for so little money. I would happily enodrse them and have no problem at all being associated with them.

Their mixers have like no headroom at all.

I'm extra happy with the mixer I got. Sure, the on-board FX are noisy but as it only cost A$20 more than the non-FX version, its still an absolute bargain. The pre-amps are fine for my needs and the whole thing, sans effects, is amazingly quiet. It way surpassed my expectations for a A$129, 10 channel mixer with FX. I love it.

I must admit that being a spoiled American, I forget that gear costs more in other places and you don't have the same used-gear options. If you make it work with Behringer ...then more power to you. I'm just saying that Behringer does have a very bad name in some people's eyes and nothing will probably ever change that.

I have an SL2442FX-Pro, I use it to multitrack record my band, and it's given me no problems at all. It's not at all noisy, it's sturdily built, and I got it for less than half of what I would have paid for the equivalent Mackie desk.

If other people want to pay a premium for a 'name', it's their money. I just need a mixer that works, and the Behringer does it for me.

I think the bad name comes from poor quality control, which is not the same thing as poor quality. I.e, if you get a good unit, (which let's admit you're more than likely to), you're gold, and for half the price. This has been my experience, owning 4 pieces of Behringer gear. If you get a bad one? take it back, exchange.

Anything Behringer that doesn't make a sound and costs less than 200$ (= you can throw away in the garbage when it breaks) is ok, anything else I very much advice against. I've only had bad experiences with behringer products so far.

I also like Behringer for their rather obvious self-irony, like calling their monitor series Truth monitors.

tell them you are willing to sign a nda limited specifically to the details of their product, and that you are not willing to release anything to them without reviewing full details of their product.

in the contract of your release, include the condition "all information pertaining to the said product at its release has been disclosed and no changes of the product have been made. changes made to the product as judged non-minor at any time void this agreement."

then you can be comfortable, otherwise, i'd say "no, but thanks for the intrest."

also, ask a lawyer about it if you have one, before you sign anything.

Well, you shouldn't hesitate to get some swag while you're at it. As long as it isn't a deal breaker... that is if you even want to deal with them.
