Wanted to check in, it's late been mxing all night. I finally got everything up and running and all the effects back in. So far so good.Just wanted to say thank you for the help and grace.

Does anyone know about routing effects from the computer back through the keyboard? I was reading on my Motif and I suppose it is possible. You should also be able to sample your voice through the keyboard as well. I have never tried to yet, but I am not real sure how to go about doing it. Good night all.

The Motif is the one thing I did get to keep out of the break-up. We were blessed enough to be able to make payments on it because a couple of the keys would tend to stick and it was banged up.It was purchased as used. I am barely holding on to it, still making payments for as long as I can.I have no drivers for it, no cords, no way to use it. I was mostly trying to make conversation with ya'll. The computer I have right now has no way of even hooking it up.I wish it did. I can't run my mic. for it has to have phantom, power. He kept the crate and the computer, so all that I have, I can't even use .If the keyboard was not used and roughed up, there is no way we could have got it in the first place.
I lost three kids, my ability to create music, my home. I have lost more than I ever wanted to, especially those babies. All I can do is get these songs mixed down so that maybe I can get on my feet again,praying the album does well.That is why I asked for your help in the first place.
It seems that I have angered someone yet again. Some of you have me figured way wrong.

Musicgrl admitted to using a bootleg of Sonar on another post. So I guess reverse engineer passed a biased snap-judgement on the Motif. Understandable, until the whole story becomes clear...

As a believer in Karma, I feel if you want this album to do well, you need to buy a legit copy of Sonar. Then again, your music is quite good...

Hey, Musicgrl, stick around. Things will settle down eventually.

Also, remember that some people are just mean and need to be ignored and some others will like to fool around and don't really mean anything harmfull.

As to your question, I don't use any external synths so I'm not sur but I don't think you can use the effects in your sequencer on your Motif.

You can either record midi into the sequencer and use it to trigger the synth or you can record audio from the synth into the sequencer and then use your effects on the audio. At that point you will be finished using the synth on that track and will be working with the audio.

If you use midi to trigger the synth, the midi will not be affected by the effects. Effects have to be applied to audio.

I don't think he ment it personally just the other day though she was asking about help for installing plug-ins on her warez copy of sonar.... and though I think it is not the best thing to use warez there's no reason to get all kick-em-in-the-eyes about it.

How about some rules to make KvR a better place

1. If someone asks for help and you suspect (but don't know if) he or she is using warez - please don't rush to conclusions... just help
2. If someone is using warez and states to do so - I guess it is okay to tell him that it is wrong and point him to some good freeware or cheapware - but please don't get angry at those people... they haven't done something to you and you know nothing about them.
3. If you buy software feel happy for yourself to use it free and without guilt - but don't blame others for you paying money if they don't (it's their buisness if they feel guilty or not - though I think they should cuz I would but that's another story)
4. Don't write some rules to make KvR a better place cuz a warezgirl gets a bit of a bashing or was that bejing ?
5. Don't buy Pringles with Cheese they are too fat
6. if you buy a PC because you can't afford a Mac... please don't blame Mac users for it... blame the f**king company (or preferably your parents)
7. If a KvR member posts a song that simply blows you away... stop listening to it or you will stop making music and get angry for no reason.
8. If you have no friends - please turn the computer of.... you'll still have no friends but at least we don't have to feel sorry for you

jk... well for this point there are two way...
a) arange a KvR fest in your backyard and invite everybody
b) switch the damn thing of and get out... oh ...get a dog and take a walk in the park (a step in the dark) - you can take dogs from the shelter for a walk..... that be a nice thing to do.
9. don't pretend to be able to walk thru a door that is closed - you can't
10. Hugs & Kisses for everybody... you may not be known ... but you will be loved - or not if you're using warez

I was thinking about the 2 boys she has to support, and the three babies she lost in the breakup, the poor bastards have to live with a warezing pirate that gives them nothing to eat but salted pork.

Makes me sad inside, all of you be nice, for the childrens sake!
