What does mean Zoom in musiceffects?

What does mean it? I´ve read in the technical section of some artists that they have Zoomeffects but i don´t know what that is.

I've got a zoom rack - hardly ever use it, but it's handy for live use.

Otherwise they are talking about zooming in on something, like the FL piano roll where you can magnify it if you will to be more precise.
