I'm stating the obvious unsolicited advice here I know:
Getting an equal presence and guardianship in your childrens life is top priority - hooking your music back together in Sonar and anything else is secondary. This is essential for your kids, You, and believe it or not your Ex. Good Fortune!

1)Two of the children were in foster care when we met, I helped him get custody of them.
2)I have no rights, none.
3)Children are gifts that God gives to us to treat as such. Not violenty, shrued, or cruel, nor your wife(I thought anyways)
=never get married
I swear I am going to have to start paying everyone for counceling here.
I just hope you all can understand where I am coming from( I know ,I know g%^# thread.)
About the effects with the Motif:
I have forgotten how to arm the tracks right for it. This computer here is using an odd soundcard that I still get the error no midi inputs. I was trying to see what you would have to do in the event I ever get to record again.
Realtek AC'97 for VIA(r) Audio Controller 1 in 4 out. Even when I select a device, the error returns. Does anyone know what that means? I have not a clue. I was using I think MME, & ASIO drivers. Would they conflict if I were to install the dirvers I mentioned and not select the realtek? If I have them.. This here is a Compaq, not real familiar with it, and I hate all the crap that runs in the background. Not my computer, so I am greatful to even be using it.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Ps, thank you for the thoughtful comments and advice. Going to be a hard road, but I will make it. As long as you guys don't mind me badgering you for help along the way from time to time.

You need to do a send return set up, but your card may not allow it...what card are you using?

I'm cool with badgers, mustelids of all sorts. Long as you're sincere about that hard road I think you'll get plenty of help and good advice. I'm in the non-expert category and rarely have much insight. But all the same, best to ya.

and well seeing how all the guys are helping you out.. maybe just add a paypal button to your homepage so you can buy EnergyXT or even Tracktion2 so that we can help you without feeling guilty.....Musicgrl wrote:Ps, thank you for the thoughtful comments and advice. nobody is trying to find warez users and bash them... we just think that developers should be paid (well most of them) for what they do...
and I guess that if you keep using your unlegit version of Sonar you won't get as much help anyway....
not trying to dis you or anything... I couldn't care less what other people download or not... but I honestly would feel uncomortable using unlegit stuf and even put out a CD with this...

mully I hate to say this but I know of (not know personally) a jerk on another forum who couldn't afford eXT but was using a cracked version of Nuendo (sp) to make and sell samples cds....personally that makes me ill when people like yourself and others work so hard...

I cannot go back and redo all of these songs that it took me almost a year to get finished and already given to different places. I spent many sleepless nights putting this stuff together and working so hard with a program that I did not know would be so wrong to use.I started out using cakewalk 9 then started Sonar with a disk that I had nothing to do with accept turning on the computer. As soon as I get the money up I will get the energyXT and run that. I cannot reverse what I have already finished. I don't know, I tried , that is all I can say. I can't go back and undo what I have already done, I wish I could. These songs that I have been working on were already recorded. I just can't win. I respect what you say, sorry I cannot turn back time and start over, I wish I could. I wish I had known what I know now.

Stick around, you'll learn how port your projects to another host and not lose any of the material of your songs.
First off, find a host. Then shout once you got one. Easiest of course would be to grab a Sonar license, but that's quite an investment. It'll work with say energy XT as well, of course.
