Of course they are, but not scanned. BIG difference.
what are you talking about? a fax is a scanner and communications device, and a computer+scanner could easily be the fax source. are you saying that there is a discrimination between a fax that was recieved from an old fax machine and one that originated from a computer? a facsimile is a copy, whether that be from a photocopier, fax machine or scanner. i've signed contracts that i've printed, scanned them (converted them back to pdf) and sent them off and had no problems. of course, i've never had to present them in court or anything :hihi: but i can't see any kind of sense behind your comment.
The problem is there just aren't laws in place regarding scanned docs - because it's so easy to scan something, photoshop it up and send it on. Obviously, it's quite possible to do the same to any given doc, then fax it, but laws always take a while to catch up with technology. To my knowledge, the laws in every state I've lived in in the States, as well as in New Zealand, Australia and England say that a scanned doc is not legally binding, but a fax is.

I don't make the rules, I just follow them - especially when it relates to pending immigration cases, such as mine! :D

Kheer (Sanskrit: Payasam, Oriya: Kheeri) is a traditional dish in the Indian subcontinent, a rice pudding typically made by boiling rice with milk and sugar. It is often flavored with cardamoms, saffron, pistachios or almonds that have been soaked overnight and made into fine paste.

The term "Payasam" is a Sanskrit word meaning Nectar and is derived from "Peeyusham" which is also called " Amrutham". Kheer is derived from the Sanskrit word "Ksheer" which means Milk.

It is an essential dish in many Hindu and Muslim feasts and celebrations in South Asia. While the dish is traditionally made with rice, it can also be made with other ingredients such as vermicelli (sayviah). The recipe for the popular English rice pudding was, in fact, derived from kheer when Britain had occupied India.[citation needed] Ultimately, kheer can be traced back to an ancient dish from Puri.

There are precious few options for a mixer that fits the rack-case form factor, at any price.

Well step into any larger studio and you most probably will find a bunch of Behringer Composers lurking around. And even more of them in the live racks.

Sure, you'll find loads of more upmarket stuff too but for what they are supposed to do they do well. It's not a Focusrite, but the price is close to peanuts anyway.

I'm sure they are preparing something for the DJ market. A firewire Virtual Pro Remix desk with some freeware synths added.

 Cheers for that :D

Actually whenever I've been approached, whether it was by Muse or that other big one with the screen and keyboard, (I forget its name) I said no as I felt it was a little out of sync with my own desires to release free plugs, also the 3rd party module devs might have something to say about it , I guess.. However thats my view only, and I wish anybody who takes Behringer up on this congratulations and good luck..

1.Behringer are OK...you get what you pay for. Mainly the ones that diss Behringer are the ones that expect something for nothing.

2. Someone mentioned paying twice as much for a "name" - in the world of mixers, he obviously hasn't used anything better than a Behringer then.

3. I've got precisely 2 Behringer products. One of which is decidedly average and I rarely use nowadays (Composer) - but it was great at the time when that was all I could afford. The other is still excellent value for money and does exactly what I bought it for (4 channel expander/gate).

BOTH of them work perfectly after 10 years - and I've bought far more expensive stuff that has crapped out alot sooner (I've a Lexicon that ain't worth fixing - so much for the so-called superior quality US stuff). Build quality is not an issue to me with Behringer - they actually make quite a few rugged bits of kit. Sound quality certainly can be an issue - but as I said - you gets exactly what you pays for, nothing more, nothing less. I would never expect a Behringer FX unit to sound anything remotely as good as a Lexicon unit - in fact, I'd be a f**king idiot if I did. You can't compare the two.
But what I can compare is that my Lexicon now doesn't work, both Behringers do. They were both subjected to exactly the same conditions - cold damp cellar for a couple of years, shipping overseas the long route, smoke blown all over the innards, etc etc. The Lexicon doesn't work anymore. Not a single pot on any of the Behringers are even sticky yet. Go figure. Go figure how Behringer are so craply built according to the gossip. More internet myth spouted by those who don't use them.

I wouldn't touch a Behringer mixer with a bargepole - but that's because I've used good mixers in the past with far better noise specs. I don't like their nasty blubbery Eq. I don't play live, and I'd use a desk solely for recording.
If I were to play live, I seriously don't think I'd have a problem with using Behringer. At least I'd feel reasonablyassured that it would still be working in 3 years time. I've had a Studiomaster go tits up on me, and that cost more at the time. I've had a Tascam go tits up too. I've also bought far more expensive desks that sounded far superior to any Behringer - but I had to pay for the privilege.

The north Indian version of rice kheer most likely originated in the temple city of Puri, in Orissa about two thousand years ago. It is cooked to this day within the Jagannath temple precincts there. Every single day, hundreds of temple cooks work around 752 hearths in what is supposed to be the world's largest kitchen (over 2500 sq. ft) to cook over 100 different dishes, including kheer, enough to feed at least 10,000 people.

Depends on what we're dealing with. If we're talking mixers, monitors, amps, microphones etc., then yes, cheap components make cheap products.
Hi there,

the Vamp2, on the other hand, is really good, I think, and not only for it's ridiculous low price. I didn't think it would prove THIS useful. (And I heard many say the same good things about the BCR2000 you said.)
