Well, it took a while but the piano in front of a CRT monitor had a drastic increase in the strobing effect from D#3 on down.
I haven't had the chance to test the LCD monitor yet since it took so long to move the piano into the computer room. I'll report back tomorrow with the LCD results.

can you move the piano over to my house to see how it sounds in my living room? i'm thinking of getting one. we can smoke a joint and put a strobe light inside your piano if you want, before you have to take it back home.

Let me finish the LCD test. Should be done by mid morning. After that, I'm free. How about we meet around 4:00 and grab a bite? That will give us the rest of the evening to check all your rooms and see which one the piano sounds best in.

It's been awhile for me too....but I can confirmandroidlove wrote:are you talking about the sine wave that appears over the string? i can't reproduce it using the monitor. i haven't noticed it in a while. it may be because i quit doing drugs. seems i saw it in any light when i was on lsd. lately i've been trying to reproduce drug induced experiences without the use of drugs. i'll make this one of my projects
the LSD phenomenon...he...he...
