Not sure if this is the right place to post this, let me know if there is a better forum to do so--

but Proton Radio (www.protonradio.com (http://www.protonradio.com)) has announced its latest remix contest. Winners will receive a release on their record label, Ableton Live 5.0, and a bunch of free tracks from Beatport.com

Full information and remix package available for download here:

They remixed the deadline, how fitting. :drunk:

It puts me in the spirit!

Plenty of time to come up with something a little more substantial than a hack-n-slash-cut-n-paste remix. Might be fun.

Post

It's a very good track. Shame there's no vocals. I always find it akward remixing a track which doesn't have vocals.

Post

I dunno - I hate vocals. It sounds more interesting to me to remix something like this, as it's easier to come up with a whole different direction to the track.

Post

so... what genre of music is this? some breakbeat dnb?

Oops.. sorry for the date typo, it is in fact 2006. The genre of the original piece is 'progressive breaks', but we're accepting any type of remix-- so please do whatever you want.

You can buy the original mix at Beatport along with a remix from a previous contest's winner here:

kritikon-> feel free to add vocals of your own to the track, if you like working with them!
