hi, i'm getting a graphics tablet this coming xmas and am looking forward to trying Tablet2Midi (T2M)! one question i have so far (and excuse me if it seems overly obvious or stupid :)) is that, when running the program what do you see on the monitor? say i'm running audio mulch and T2M; will the monitor display mulch or the graphic being used on T2M? i would assume it would be the former but would appreciate clarification :)....thinking about it, it may be nice to have an option to toggle on/off a transparent overlay of the T2M controller "patch", what do you think?

It's a very relevant question. I usually don't view the tablet2midi interface when making music - only while defining controllers.

I have a printed version of the controller layout put directly on the tablet surface so I don't have to look at the tablet at all.

Note that you can double click on the titlebar of the tablet2midi application to "roll up" the window.

On a tablet the cursor position is absolute so there's no need to locate the screen cursor - just point the pen on the tablet.

It should be possible to implement transparent overlay of the tablet2midi window. If would make it possible to see the current value of the controller before placing the pen. Would be a bit confusing though - viewing two screens at once.
