Could use some help here. I just got a copy of BBE Sonic Maximizer and installed it both in the default folder and the Cool Edit Pro folder. Neither install seemed to work. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Use the origional... copies never work

If it works for me I will. But they don't offer a trial, and I don't have money to waste, if it doesn't work out for me. Wish they offered a trial, but...

You can download a trial version from Cakewalk's site at

The DirectX version should just show up once installed.
The VST .DLL will have to be copied to your default VSTPlugins location if it didn't install there automatically.
I don't use Cool Edit myself so I don't know about anything specific to that sequencer regarding plugins & there installation etc... sorry. ?

Ok, downloaded the BBE demo, installed, and still Cool Edit Pro 2.1 does not recognize it. Yes, I did a restart. Any ideas? Thanks.
