And a BUMP! (Until it's ready)ugo wrote:i lost all last night because of my "day" job and lost most of today due to car issues. my plan had been to release today but its already past 6 and i've got a few more things to take care of tonight. however, i think im going to be able to finally release this sucker sometime tomorrow.
in the meantime, i've decided to spend some extra time tonight making more patches so metallurgy will get released with 400 presets. (the demo version will have 64.)

And sounds even cooler!vurt wrote:looks cool
Metallurgy is one of those effects that you immediately think: 'damn where you BEEN???'
It just makes so much sense and fills a gap that none of the other filters (such as Nitro, Quadfrohmage, Volcano, Frantic etc) cover.
I just spent an hour running vst drums RMIV, DK+, Tassman 4 through the included Metallurgy presets. Seems like I just quadrupled the useful drum sounds that I have with this thing. Simply irresistible-and that's just the drum presets, I can't wait to get Imposcar and Vaz Mod screaming through this monster.
As for the $20 price, shhhh!!!
Twenty dollars also goes a small way towards thanking Ugo for his great free synths such as Texture, Motion, Rez and String Theory.
So what are you waiting for-go get an advanced degree in metallurgy. Words don't begin to describe this treasure.
Ya, ok-so I'm stoked-fcukking sue me!!!

dont forget to try various sound types through presets from different categories! i consider the categories to be more recommendations than rules because the presets are quite often useful for far more than they are listed as.Improv wrote:-and that's just the drum presets, I can't wait to get Imposcar and Vaz Mod screaming through this monster.

Yeah, me too.Colonel Flashback wrote:love it! will buy soon...
I've not loaded up on effects, much, but this'll make the Xmas shopping list at this price!
As Improv just said, this should really help extend the range of drums, in all known coordinate directions. This strikes me as totally essential -- I can't always say that about some purchases -- and with so many presets, and a whole universe of sounds to mangle, it's a gift that'll keep on giving...

Oh don't worry, that was just somewhere to start playing. It's 0 celcius here and snowing on a Sunday morning-I know what I'll be doing today!dont forget to try various sound types through presets from different categories! i consider the categories to be more recommendations than rules because the presets are quite often useful for far more than they are listed as.
I especially can't wait to try Metallurgy on some guitar! 18" Nails, anyone?!?
Thanks again, Ugo-top drawer stuff! What is it that Putte usually says?

Ohmforce should hire Ugo to do some funk skins for S:M and Quad Frohmage, etc.funkychickendance wrote: Yeah, me too.![]()
That GUI is very cool.
As well as in many UNknown coordinate directions. What is it they used to put on maps?As Improv just said, this should really help extend the range of drums, in all known coordinate directions.
