Amazing sounds with the demo. However, it locks me up with Directixer (in Cakewalk Home Studio 2004). The Cakewalk VST Adapter doesn't lock up, but it apparently doesn't sync with HS either.
String Theory by contrast works with both adapters and syncs to the host.

You'd need to configure the Cakewalk Adapter manually to get Metallurgy sync with host. If you're using an old version of VST Adapter, configure Metallurgy as a VSTi. Or if you're using the new version, enable the option "tempo-based effect" while you do the VST scanning. Then it should sync with host with no problem.

check out the first page in this thread for newly updated info, the link to the demo, and a whole bunch of new mp3s.

Will try and find time to test it out - then you're likely to see some money coming your way.
Lovely to see the UGO making some more noise machines.

Hey Ugo, the oxidizer loop link currently points to the basementloop MP3.

What surprises me is the versatility of this thing. I'd look at it and say "drum loop mangler," but it does nice/evil things to pads and everything else too.

It sounds great on guitars! I had some guitar presets included in the set i did for this release....i don't think they made it to the final package though.....i'll dig them up and put them out for download from my website though...Managed to get some really creamy distorted sounds using the distortion and filters in conjunction with eachother.
peace!

hi folks,
im really happy you are all enjoying metallurgy!

i just didnt want to end up with too may seperate categories (there's already 11 of them) and i wanted to encourrage people to try a wider range of presets than they might otherwise if the categories were all very instrument specific.

they did make it into the release (and they are great), the category on theose patches was just renamed to LED because i was trying to keep things simple and because they work very well on other higher pitched/lead instruments...just as the BAS category covers both bass guitars and synth basses, and the PAD category covers normal pads as well as drones.TotcProductions wrote:It sounds great on guitars!
