Sure, FL is so slim compared to the other hosts. We need more bloat. Hey, how about a feature where FL automatically makes a beat for you, all you have to say is "Drums. Vintage Drumkit. 4/4. Swing 12%. Beat begin. Boom chunk thish chunk thish chunk thish MOOB chunk thishhhh. Beat stop. Bassline. 303. Note C3. Preset BT. Bassline begin. Doong Doong Doooooongooo. Waao Waao Wooooaaaaiiii." You sing out the bassline as per the pitch you want, of course.

Now that would be the bitch's nuts!! :hihi:
I think my idea is for hyper-convenience
...your implemantation is downright lazy :hihi: but Ill take it!!

why won't this thread die? ;)

I would like to see moreo utputs than 16 for rewire to cubase. also an actual note off button similar to MPC instead of having to turn the release to off everytime i want this effect. slowing down a sample without changing pitch but in cent increments.

Post

also say i have a 5 beat sample which isnt actually a loop and i want to time stretch ther eis no option available to me when i right click on the sample as there is only 1 beat 2 beats 1 bar etc when u designate how long the sample is. needs to be a user input to say how many beats it is.

You are right Rocc... especially on the controls of the TS404, where the hint bar doesn't display anything. Manual entry of values should be available for all knobs.

STEP SEQUENCER should have up/down arrows like reason's redrum! if u look at redrum, yo'll see that u can cycle through samples with just a click, up or down... so simple!!!! why doesnt frutiy already have this feature!!! it is absolutely essential.. i cant wait any longer!

Seriously? the browser/drag and drop is the most convenient system I've come across. You can even drag samples form the FL Browser into other programs...

Post

You dont need to drag, you can simply right-click. It's all in the help.

I'd just be happy to have another 19" monitor so that I can groove harder on the new mixer and whatnot.

But it would be cool if FL hooked up a stable way to have a virtual second monitor so that the "Home" or "End" key would flip you back and forth between two or more states of the same workspace. Then you could set up most if not all your FX on a page, some synths on a page, and then tab through it all. It'd be like tabbed browsing but the state would save with your project.

I'm gonna be really embarrassed if this is already possible. It wouldn't surprise me!

Penis, I know, But i prefer the drag.

probably impossible , but it would be great if there was a way to save a complete effects chain as a mixer prest sorta thing that ya could recall with one click --- even if it just saved the settings of the parameters in a text-based format , like " save parameter info as text in f l notebook "

oh , and definitely the customizable GUI thing as regards all the stuff at the top of the screen.
