I would say Yamaha S90-ES. It's the ultimate Piano/Synth for stage or studio. P-250 is great for piano only. It also has built in speakers which is a plus in some situations. But P250 is heavier than S90ES from what I know. Also S90es may have a better piano sample than P250. I may be wrong on that one.

My reason is I love to play piano, but most software pianos sound pretty shit, and my midi keyboard is not weighted either, so I can't get the feeling of playing a piano.

$300 is going to be tough. M-Audio has a newer piano/controller, but I believe that even it is over $300.
