But I had a teacher who was actually a Guru. He taught a Yoga class in the mornings, and private guitar lessons in the afternoons. Went by the name of Swami Dev Singh Khalsa. Always wore a white robe and a turban, no shoes allowed in the house, the whole nine yards. So I guess that's "sikh", not "zen", but the experience was really strange. Learned a lot.
