on the first beat when ever i press play no matter where i start from and if i loop it will loop but just miss the first kick of the loop

perhaps a driver issue?

IIRC, it's a known issue with FLS as a vsti. The easiest solution is to insert one or two empty bars before the actual track starts.

I wouldn't build your hopes up about it being fixed in FL6..........Going off memory again here, so I may be wrong, besides inserting 1 or 2 empty bars, another option is to record in loop mode. FL will still miss the first note/beat when started, but on the second 'pass' it'll be there.

with fruity loops and cubase why do i always miss out..
