I know I'm probably well behind the times but I've just discovered Stina Nordenstam. Listening now to "And she closed her eyes" - "Murder in Maryland Park" - wow - blinding

Anyone got any other recommendations?

The track she done with Mew. It's called her voice is beyond her years (from the Frengers album.)

I love Stina. She did a track ("Ask the Mountains") with Vangelis on his Voices album that I absolutely adore. When I mentioned that I like Stina to someone he suggested I check out Múm. I picked up their Finally We Are No One album and it appealed to me. I think "The Land Between Solar Systems" is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard.

The one's I've heard so far are all stunningly beautiful so I'll check these out too
