i understand what he means about the knobs, but gosh I am way more excited about the fuctionality of these great plugs than I am upset about a few pixel jaggies...

Post

Thanks everyone.

The knobs (and most other GUI components) are drawn using the Windows GDI, which doesn't do anything fancy. That's why they look like they do. Maybe I'll look into some alternatives.

Thanks Gy! Your plugins are great.

And please... don't change the graphics. I like their simplicity. They are just beautiful and so easy to use.

Congrats Gy.
Great new site; nicely structured.

I did a couple tests
with the recompiled effects.

GRevDly seems to have a little bug concerning stereo:
the left input is sent to the left and the right output.

Two little feature requests:
Would it be possible to make true stereo versions of GSnap & GSynthG?
A peak display - like GBand has it - would be very handy on GGain & GFader.

Thank you for this great plugin pack.

Cheers,
tl.

No! I like the GUI's. They are simple yet unique. Keep them.

I also *like* the look of the interface, as it reminds me of the fabulous sounding, yet utilitarian-looking analog gear of the past.

I vote you don't bother with changing the look.

GVST and Tweakbench have the coolest gui's
Gy- no changes needed. we're more than grateful for the tools as they are: fabulous :D

Post

I've nothing but praise for the GUIs. Simple, quick to use and functional - completely congruent with the plugins themselves.

Post

tl, could you download and try GRevDly again. What host are you using, out of interest? And I added a peak display to GGain. I left GFader alone, however, as it was specifically designed to be small (there's a thread about it somewhere).

As for the GUIs, I guess I'll leave them be. (Although, if I find an easy way to add anti-aliasing, I might not be able to stop myself :)).

Downloaded & tried GRevDly: problem's gone.
Great thanks for that and the GGain update.

I tested yr plugins in Audiomulch,
Seib's VstHost & Tracktion NFR 1.6.0.1.

About the Gui:
I like it nice & simple,
and they are nice & simple...
Function over form.

Again:
A big ThankYou!

Cheers,

Regarding the GUIs again: exactly the same but anti-aliased could be nice-looking. :D Shouldn't be all that tricky for anyone with a modicum of PhotoShop skillz and the button-stitching plug-in (whatever it's called, I'll ask Mully!). You can select "antialiased" as an option when drawing the circle.

Well it must be off on purpose because the text, etc, has anti-aliasing on. I agree it would look nicer with it on, but hey, maybe that's his thing. :)

Or, the text doesn't have anti-aliasing as optional, but the circle tool does. ;)

I haven't tried any of these tho..what are so great about 'em?

do they sound expensive, or are they just generic but easy to use?
