Is it big? I really don't know yet. I usually go for bundle deals where I can get all the interesting products from a vendor in one go. That's why I went for the Cameleon/Space/Phat group buy, and why I got into most of the other group buys that I did. Something about the "suite" has value to me.

I don't expect to use Manystation at all if I can just import the soundsets into Wusik V2. I think I read that it works that way. I would have never bought MS if it wasn't with the MG/UBK bundle for a reasonable crossgrade price. Likewise, I'd never have bought Cameleon if it weren't for the deal with PhatSpace and all the extra soundsets.

There's a lot of products I'll never get interested in, because the sellers won't make them appeal to me the way MS did, the way Cameleon did, and so on.

Yeah! that Camelaudio deal was sweet! I already had C5k, man I was blown away with Camelphat and Camelspace! I use em allot, for subtle and tripping effects!

MS sounds work great in WSv2.
Enjoy!

I keep reading about that but I don't see it. (Is it really called something else?) Makes me wonder if I missed part of the install.

Hi,
I do not find the Ozric preset in my ManyGuitar preset list. Is it under a different name ?
Thanks a lot

Finally decided to purchase and realised that my PayPal wouldn't allow me to send that much money. Now setting up bank funding for PayPal account. In a couple of days it should be operable and then I'm hitting the purchase button.

I'm using ManyGuitar in Tracktion 2, and preset number 49 is call "LED Ozricy TC".

Does that help?

Today I ordered the whole Wusik crossgrade bundle. (It's getting close to the deadline, 12/12.) The download links came within minutes. It's over 1.3 gigs compressed, so it took a bit of time to download. I am planning to upgrade from win2k to XP sometime this week, so I might not get to play with it until next weekend.

I thought long and hard about this purchase. I find that I am using Wusikstation in more and more tracks. I also find that good bass sounds are hard to get, so I was interested in UBK. Manyguitar also sounded interesting, with amp sims, and new basses. I use a Roland GR-20 guitar synth most of the time as a midi input device, so on final tracks I will probably record real guitar, but being able to do midi parts first will probably help in composing.

I have a few questions about Manystation. I went for this bundle mainly because the Manystation samples look really useful, and it was a good deal for Manyguitar and UBK. How different is the Manystation VSTi from Wusik V1? When it upgrades to the V2 engine, how different will it be from Wusik V2? Will it go in the Wusik V3 direction, or is Manyguitar, and the Dashsound engine, the new direction? What is the vision for the future for Manytone?

Thanks,

John

Yeah, I finally found it, thanks! Getting an idea of the possibilities now. A lot of the MG sounds are so far from being "guitar" sounds, but still quite interesting!

The Crystal Ball here says it looks Good!

I guess you guys will see that when i get there myself. :-)

We are always working on new things here as we have shown pretty big time over the last year .... So you never know where we will end up.

About that preset thing you guys are talking about....

REMEMBER ... Besides the Soundset choice and the 2 Wizards on the GUI (the Soundwizard and the FX Wizard which have about 60 fast call up settings) there is ALSO an FXB bank with 128 presets designed by Myself and Gregjazz and ToTc and Tim Conrardy and Rsmus7.

I had a few users that did Not realize there was also this FXB Bank with these 128 presets. Most Hosts will AutoLoad this FXB Bank with the instrument. You can also find the Bank in the ManyGuitar Folder.

Heh :-) you said:

Well yes that is the idea ... But there is also all the Raw sounds of the real instruments there for when you want it real. The presets take it to extreme as well as Raw.

This is meant to be Not only about Samples but also about adding Synth Controls and FX to create a Guitar Synth or a real sounding Instrument. I am sure you are finding this already though. Also the Synth controls used properly will Add to the realism of the instrument when needed for that. Alot of presets show this off. So it really is a bit exotic :-)
The ModWheel is also routed to the LFO on alot of presets and will add some realism (or effect) to your performance, so don't forget to tweak that wheel.

PitchBend is Gregs best friend :-) (He had a suggestion during beta testing that had the coders recode the response of the pitchbend so it was faster for Guitar stuff... Thanks Greg, works better now i trust?)

Dig in !
Cheers Guys and Thanks Again!!

ManyGuitar is tons of fun. Here's a snippet of a quick improvised jam I recorded in about 10 minutes flat the other day just to try out the lead and bass guitar sounds. The backing is BFD drums and the superb Nubi LE organ with rotary sim spinning up and down. Thanks to PJ for hosting.

At this point I believe I purchased the entire many line. Many Guitar took my breath away. I have been DYING to find a sample collection (not even a synth) that I could use for inspiration when the idea hits me at 3am - hardly a time to call my guitar player and ask him to come in and record a track. I don't play guitar and due to small hands and bad carpal tunnel - may never play guitar. Yet, I love the sound of a guitar - especially acoustic strumming and finger picking. It has been impossible for me to find someone like-minded enough (with me) that I could simply say "play a track for this instrumental I created" and they lay down EXACTLY what I was thinking. It seems no matter how I explain what I want, no guitarist has ever recorded my EXACT inner-voice idea (if that makes sense) - you know - I hear it in my head and try to explain it.

Well, now I can play it. Although I have played many a song with synth guitar sounds and pitch bending to emulate the whammy bar (I do own a stratocaster electric and two acoustic - 1 12 string and one 6 string nylon) - and I know how to do so well enough to fool some, but not well enough to fool the more knowledgeable. But I have never heard a guitar synth, both electric and acoustic, so damn realistic and playable.

Yeah, some of the patches are not great. But most are insane. The ability for many guitar to emulate cabinet amps, fantastic chorus and other hyper-realistic GUITAR ORIENTED fx and simulations is superb.

I am so damn glad I bought this. Yes, some of the tim c patches are incredible (like the ozricky one) - but many of them are fantastic. What blew me away was when I played my wusikstation and deicided to try out my new manyguitar presets within wusik. He He He - NOW I UNDERSTAND. They just sounded flat and unrealistic. There really is a lot going on under the hood of many guitar that is NOT related to the samples themselves. Now I know.

The crunch guitars, distortions, feedback, strumming, string noises - all great and the feel of this instrument - well, it feels smooth and never seems to BUDGE my CPU meter one iota.

What can I say. I'll buy just about anything manystation and Paul creates. Hell, if he farted in a a variety of locations, sampled it, packaged it and called it the manyfarts collection I'd probably buy it knowing they would be QUALITY farts that would play like the real thing (just kidding)!!!

Good job. No, GREAT FREAKIN JOB once again!!!

Mike
