Reason + Live = The Shit!!!

Reasons NN-XT is the shit with Reason DrumKits. I've been delving more and more into it and its depth has yet to end esp. when "Combined" with effects (individually routed to each sample or all together). I create one huge DrumKit Combinator with a mixer (fully laden with aux effects like a tube amp with the scream and RV7000 reverb) that has a channel for each NN-XT with an "Individual Instrument" drum patch like snares or hi-hats. Have those samplers routed to their OWN effects and then back in to the mixer. Then the whole custom Combinator Drumkit is routed to a M-Class compressor then rewired into individual Live channels and pumped up with Live effects like the Saturator and VST effects AudioDamage's FuzzPlus 2 and Waves Renaissance EQ. When its all said and done I'm achieving the hightest level of production I've yet experienced!

Yes, there are so much you can do with the "Combinator" that for those who are still thinking about upgrading, don't wait, you'll be glad you did.
I have Logic as my host...but lately, I haven't used it much other than recording some vocal tracks. I have been using Live with Reason and this combination alone is sufficient enough for what I do.

I'm not ready to share my work yet. But as soon as I am, KVR will be among the first site to get a sampling.bluedad wrote:prove it.
let's hear it.
(not being a smart-ass; I own Reason and Live - just genuinely interested in hearing the result)
