Example: I could say, "I have 4 speakers." But I only have 2 in reality- it was just a joke.. you knew that, right? I'm claiming its a joke after the fact. This makes ME the victim because you thought I was serious when I typed a statement that looked serious.
I hope you understand now..
good catch phrases there that simply don't describe the situation.. Listen, you said something that looked serious, I called you on it.. then you want to doubleback and say its a joke.. ok then, I suppose from here on out I can give you the benefit of the doubt. OK, I see Ben or phz or some other dutiful mod locking this post in the near future, but I'll pleasure you since you want to keep acting like a f**king high-handed c**t:
It looks like this>>

Now tell me if you can find it in the OP. Take your time, we're in no hurry here. (Hint: it is somewhere near the bottom)
On your mark, get set, GO!!
<<Not this one, find one in the OP!
Since you're so obviously clueless when it comes to intarwebnet etiquette, I'll cue you in... that smiley is shown to express sarcasm, dark humor or a defeatist I-give-up attitude as regards to something. There are more, but I think these'll do for now.

YOU couldn't see the joke. Tough shit. I am not saying it was a comedic gem, but if it was a real warez post, I wouldn't be posting replies because some mod would have already locked it.

You must be f**king blind to not see my rolling eyes smiley.VitaminD wrote: you made a serious looking statement with no method of allowing one know that you were joking..

I never did a volte-face. I maintain that it was a joke. No name picked it up, Reverse Engineer picked it up, and Chase already knows that I make such inane jokes to increase the length of my e-penis by increasing my postcount.I used that word sarcastically to describe your name calling and rather foul behavior..rbet wrote: And I used the 'maturity' word (note the quote marks around the word maturity in my previous post) because you used it first; you yourself obviously weren't not exactly "maturity" personified in your replies. What would someone do with (more than) 10 copies of energyXT?Reverse Engineer wrote:Buy them EnergyXT insteadYou could buy them (more than) 10 copies each for the price of FLStudio
I get by just fine with three.

@rbet - Joke or no joke, I think the main point should be that it's highly inappropriate for you to be bringing up warez AT ALL in this forum. I'm with VitaminD on this, you were off base even if it was a 'joke', so do us all a favor, admit it, and let's get back to the topic please

To mention using warez after complaining about a price increase is an implied threat to the developer. Adding a little emoticon at the end is not a get out of jail free card.
It's like called someone a cnut and then saying "no offense".

Well he joked about it, he wasn't serious. I'll probably regret asking this, but how is that "an implied threat"? It's pretty common to say stuff like "I'll kill you!" playfully, and it doesn't necessarily mean you're seriously threatening the person. Isn't that basically the same as what's going on here?Cabinfever wrote:To mention using warez after complaining about a price increase is an implied threat to the developer.

That's my point, it doesn't matter if he was only joking, he should not have said it - in either case.
Then to go off on his childish rampage of expletives and insults only sealed his mistake - IMO.
