No. Working with more than one host never makes any sense to me at all.
well it works for me  I guess that's all that really matters...:)

To all you AA freaks. I need some help over here. Anybody know how to get Amplitube to work in Adobe Audition? I can't hear myself play only the clean sound going in. I have a PIII 512Ram, Adobe audition and a Tascam US122. Just in case the 122 works fine and is correctly installed. Any tips welcome.

im a huge audition fan, bought tracktion and only used audition for transfers and surgical things. might be using it for cartoon animations.

I don't use plugin sims so I can be of little help, however AA has one thing (one more) that's awesome...their forum. Perhaps the nicest, friendliest support forum I've been to. Oz Peter has made many tutorials, including I'm reasonably sure your question.

is it possible to compare two wavs side by side without using the multichannel view? i need to look at two similar files that have no intention of playing together. using the multi view just seems "wrong"

no, you can't open multi views in the edit view...if you want to view two at a time that are not on the same timeline, you could just drag one to the other and undo after, or save a marker and have it snap back to the marker when you're done. In multi-track view, or edit view you can drag the time bar (not move it) to zoom in pretty easy....:)

In my case Audition replaced SoundDesigner 2, which was last updated (around 1994) to add PowerPC support, and the Macromedia version of Deck (1996?) for multi-track so I don't really think the upgrade cycle is too slow. Basically it's "an editor I can actually stand to use on the PC, great!"

How does using the multiview seem wrong for viewing multiple files? I would say it is the obvious place. Alternatively you could start two instances and compare that way but that seems far less appropriate.
